Throughout the beginning of the game, Runescape, the hardest task to earn will be earning your first 500k GP without having to cheat the system. If you want to earn this much is focused on getting this much GP or twice this much GP, then this guide will be perfect for you.

There’s a little bit of everything from mining, cutting trees and even by making runes. Below, will be listed different types of things that you can do and the amount you need to do in order to get a step closer to the 500k GP goal.

Mining:

(Above is a picture while mining. Simply use the World Map to find all the available places to mine.)

Requirement: You must have completed the Rune Mysteries Quest and have any kind of pickaxe in order to this step. The better the pickaxe is the sooner, you will be complete with this step. Also, you must have a mining level of at least 15.
Mining is many people favorite way of earning gold point’s through Runescape. This of course is a great gold points earner so you would be able to benefit off this by taking the initiative to do this step. If you feel that this is not the right type of job for you, then simply skip this one and do the next thing. Please keep in mind that if you do skip this, then you would have to do twice the work on the next step to earn the 500k GP. Mine the following items and the listed amount for each item. Simply try to receive at least 250,000 GP through this to move on to the next step.

Iron Ores - Mine 2,500 Iron Ores.
Sell Each: 50 GP Each - Total: 125,000 GP
Rune Essences - Mine 4,170 Rune Essences.
Sell Each: 30 GP Each - Total: 125,100 GP
You can find quick buyers by moving onto World 1-5 and going to a Varrock bank. Simply post that you are selling these and you should receive many people wanting to trade with you. Make sure that you take no less, then the suggested price stated above. You will most likely be tried to get ripped off by users trying to buy it for less but do not sell it if they are not paying the price listed above.

Woodcutting:

(Above is a picture while woodcutting a Yew tree. Simply use the World Map to find all the available places to woodcut trees.)

Requirement: You must have a woodcutting level of 60 in order to do this step.
Woodcutting is another big gold point earner in Runescape. It has been proven that many Runescape players are able to come up 1,000,000+ GP in less than a month so why not try this. The best way to earn gold points the quickest way is to work your way up to being able to cut Yew logs. These can be sold for around 200 GP each!

Yew Logs - Cut 1,250 Yew logs.
Sell Each: 200 GP Each - Total: 250,000 GP
You can find quick buyers by moving onto World 1-5 and going to a Varrock bank. Simply post that you are selling these and you should receive many people wanting to trade with you. Items Needed: 3 Gold Points
Length: Short

You will help Witch Hetty out with her cauldron by getting her some ingredients to complete this quest. This quest is very easy and can be done in just a few minutes by following through on this guide. To complete this quest sooner, all you have to do is get the following items before you start the quest. If not, then you can just simply get them while doing the quest. The items are onion, rat’s tail, a piece of burnt meat and an eye of newt.

Quest Instructions:

1.) Start off by talking to Witch Hetty. She is located in Rimmington in the southeastern house.

2.) She will then ask you to get her a few items so that she can make her cauldron. The following items which she asks you to bring to her are…

An onion
A rat’s tail
A piece of burnt meat
An eye of newt
3.) If you had these items already when starting the quest, then you can skip this step.
Onion: From Witch Hetty’s place, you will go north and then on your west you will see a cabbage/onion field. Pick up one onion.
Rat’s tail: To get a Rat’s tail, simply go back to Witch Hetty’s place and right beside her place will be a spot which is fluttered with rats. Simply kill one and then you will get one when it’s killed. You must start the quest in order to get it.
Burnt meat: You can find some raw rat meat east from Witch Hetty. Kill about five to ten of them and take the raw rat meat to cook. In the place right before Hetty’s is a range. Use the raw rat meats on the range until you get a burnt one.
Eye of Newt: You can purchase one of these at the Port Sarim magic shop for three coins.

4.) Now your done with getting all the items! Take all the items to Witch Hetty.
5.) Once you give her all the items, go ahead and drink the green thing in the middle which is the cauldron. It tastes nasty.
6.) You are now done with the quest! Here is an image of what you will get once the quest is completed.

When you first join Runescape, the first thing you or almost every user that joins and finishes the tutorial stage of Runescape would do is to begin training to achieve a higher combat level or even total level. This is obviously the best thing a newbie would want to do when starting to play the game, Runescape. But the thing that every trainer need is their armour to be able to attack or defend their self during a battle or have a lower chance of loosing to their opponent. The better the armour that you are wielding, the more strength you will have to fight. It’s that simple. There are a couple of different ways to getting your armour around in the game, which will be explained here.

The most easiest and quickest way to get your armour is by purchasing it on Runescape. You have a variety of different type of armours to choose from when buying so this guide will help you out in choosing the best one that you can afford. Also, you can either purchase your armour from other members that are selling them or you can choose to purchase it at each individual store by buying each piece of your armour individually at the designated store. Each store you go to will only sell one piece of the full armour unless the General store has it all but that is less likely of getting it quicker. Here is a list of the most common armour that you can purchase and the highest amount you should purchase them from other members around in Runescape. Please note that this is not the full list and these are just the common ones that users always buy.

Full Bronze - 1,500 GP
Full Iron - 3,000 GP
Full Steel - 5,000 GP
Full Mithril - 7,000 GP
Full Adamant - 35,000 GP
Full Rune - 200,000 GP
These numbers are the approximate value of each kind of armour when buying them in full, so make sure you do not pay around 10,000 GP or ever more then what the approximate value is. There are a few members will try and cheat you on your money so make sure to review the prices listed above before actually buying the item from the members. When buying your armour individually, you will end up paying more then what is listed above so we recommend that the best way to purchase your armour is by buying them in full sets. After purchasing full iron, steel or even full mithril then the best thing would be not to keep purchasing higher armours to upgrade what you wear but the best advice would be to save up all gold coins to buy the very best armour out there which is full rune. This would save you a good amount of gold coins just by saving for the best one. Another advice that you should know is that when buying your armour from individual stores, it will be cheaper to buy each piece at it’s original store instead of at the general store because the general store overprices the items. Say you want to buy a schimitar for 30,000 GP at the general store, you will find this same schimitar at the schimitar store for probably around 25,000 GP. (These are just random numbers and there might not be any schimitars selling for that price.) Same goes for selling your armour, the general store will take less then what the actual store that sells that item only will take it for. These tips can help you save a lot of gold coins!

Other than purchasing your armour, the best way that we recommend every user to do is to get your armour is by making it. Even though it takes more time, it’s worth it at the very end and it is also pretty easy to do. Think about you being able to create all the armours out there on Runescape. Not only that you will be able to make armour for yourself all for free, but you can make them and sell them and make all that money instead. And now imagine again you being able to make full rune every ten-thirty minutes. That would be 200,000 GP every ten-thirty minutes that you make full rune. You can have a million gold coins in no time when you have the ability to be able to do this which is very easy but time consuming at first since it gets harder to gain levels as you get higher. The way you can make your armour is by mining, furnacing your ores and then smithing your bars. Once again, it’s not that hard but all it does is take time. Here’s a list that explains the level of mining and smithing you must have in order to be able to make the full set of each of the common armour.

Full Bronze - Level 1 Mining, Level 18 Smithing
Full Iron - Level 15 Mining, Level 33 Smithing
Full Steel - Level 30 Mining, Level 48 Smithing
Full Mithril - Level 55 Mining, Level 68 Smithing
Full Adamant - Level 70 Mining, Level 88 Smithing
Full Rune - Level 85 Mining, Level 99 Smithing
This is the list of the mining and smithing levels that you must obtain before being able to make the full armour for it. Hard work and dedication will help you achieve these high levels. After creating all the armours, simply go to a bank and post that your selling full _____ and then you will find many people coming to you wanting to buy. Using the prices listed above, will definitely help you get more sellers. The better the armour type is, the more people you will receive wanting to buy it from you. When you first start making armour, many people will not be interested in purchasing full bronze and would rather be more interested in purchasing full mithril and higher types of armour instead so do not be discouraged and use this as a motivation to get higher levels.

Items Needed: Egg, Bucket of Milk, Pot of Flour
Length: Short
Description: The Duke of Lumbridge is expecting the cook to prepare a cake for the birthday party he will be hosting. The Problem is that the cook has forgotten to buy the ingredients to bake the cake.

In the process of completing this quest, you will help the cook by getting him some ingredients to prepare the cake. As a beginner, you will experience the process of getting flour by harvesting wheat, then making the flour, also the joy in milking the cow to get a bucket of milk and finally watching amazingly when a chicken lays their egg.

Quest Instructions:

1.) You can start this quest by talking to the Cook where he should be located in the Lumbridge Castle.
2.) He will then tell you he has forgotten to buy the ingredients to bake the cake. That’s where your part comes in. accept this quest in getting the items that he will need to make the cake. The following items which he asks you to get for him are�

An egg
A bucket of milk
A pot of flour
3.) If you had these items already when starting the quest, then you can skip this step.

Egg: You can find some eggs located on a farm northeast of Lumbridge. When you reach the farm there should be chickens there. Look around if you don’t see an egg right away chances are that an egg could pop up thirty seconds, top. If for some reason the egg don’t pop up, try switching worlds or buying the egg in a near general store.

Bucket of Milk: Also before you leave the farm, don’t for get to grab a bucket (if you don’t already have one…). This will come in handy when milking the cow. On the farm there should be a little house located near it. there you will find the bucket. Next you should be heading east of the farm. you should then find cows grazing on grass. Next to them you should be able to see Gillie Groats. If you need help on milking the cows, Gillie Groats will come to your rescue =D. To get the milk use the bucket you got with the Dairy Cow. Then ahh… a fresh bucket of milk!

Pot of Flour: You can either buy a pot located in the Lumbridge General store or you can go pick one up for free located in the Lumbridge Castle. From there start heading northwest. You should find a grain field. There should be windmill located east of the grain field. First, pick grain from the fields. Then head to the windmill. To get the flour you first you must head to the third floor drop the grain into the shoot then activate the machine by pulling the lever. After that is don head down to the first floor then use the pot with the flour then Vwa-La your pot of flour has been complete!

4.) Now that you have your egg, bucket of milk, and pot of flour with you its now time to head back to the Cook.
5.) Once you get there hand him the items. He will thank you, and you save him from getting him in deep trouble.
6.) You are now done with the quest! Here is an image of what you will get once the quest is completed.

You will also be given permission to use the Cook’s Range.
( Keep in mind that, using the Cook’s Range is an advantage because there is a less chance of the item getting burnt)

Items Needed: Rope, 10 Gold Points, Wig, Yellow Dye, Red berries, Bucket of water, Pot of Flour, Ashes, Pink Skirt, Three Beers, Soft Clay, Bronze Bar
Length: Long
Requirements: None
Description: HELP!! Prince Ali has been captured by Lady Keli! So now it is up to you to save him. Go on this amazing journey to save the prince from things like disguising your self as Lady Keli to Making an Imprint of a key! This journey may be long but you’ll have to have the guts! So now the question is, DO YOU HAVE THE POWER? If your answer is no, then please feel free to STOP at this point… ha-ha Just Kidding! We both know that you are more then capable of completing this quest, so go on now!

Quest Instructions:

1.) To start the quest, speak with Hassan which is located in the Al Kharid Palace. He will then assign you to speak with Osman. He is located outside the Al Kharid Palace dressing as a spy.

2.) When you arrive to Osman, tell him that Hassan has sent you and that you will need instructions to complete the quest. Osman will tell you that Lady Keli is the person that has captured Prince Ali. He will also tell you that no other person can rescue him but you. He’ll then explain to you that there are two main key things to do:

One of them is to make a disguise as Lady Keli.
The other is to make an imprint of the key to Prince Ali’s Cell.
3.) If you had these items already when starting the quest, then you can skip this step.

Rope: You can buy some rope from Ned who is located in Draynor Village or you can also purchase some rope in any local general store. If you are looking to pick one up for free head to the front of the magic shop and fight the thief. The usually drop ropes. If you are buying at the general store then I think they sell them for twelve gold points. But I’m not sure. Or if you bring four extra balls of wool Ned can make you the rope.

10 Gold Points: You will need this 10 Gold Points for traveling faster through the toll gate. It’s for traveling faster. You can also use a Dueling Ring and/or a charged Amulet of Glory (if you’re members) for even faster travel.

Wig: To get the wig you must first get three balls of wool. You can get them by using shears to shear the sheep. After that you must take the wool to a spinner. When you spin then you should have created balls of wool. After you get the balls of wool, you have to talk with Ned which is located in an empty shop located across the bank in Draynor Village. Then tell him that you would like him to make you a wig. Finally you have the wig! This is a great start to completing the Disguise! But you are not done yet…

Yellow Dye: Next, you will need to get some yellow dye. To get some yellow dye you would have to get two onions and five coins. After you get these items you would have to bring them back to Aggie. Aggie is located also in Draynor Village. She is known for making dyes.

Red Berries: Ahh… next you have come to the red, juicy red berries. Getting red berries is pretty easy. To pick them up for free, head up to the mining area by Varrock, there should some on the west side. Or if you are not close by to Varrock then you can purchase them in a food store just off the deck in Port Sarim. You should by them no more then ten gold points. Because that’s just a rip-off!

Bucket of Water: To get a bucket of water. You must first purchase an Empty bucket. If you do not want to purchase one then you can find a lot of good places to pick them up for free. To purchase them head off to any general store. You should purchase them no more then five gold points! So do not get fooled! If you have any spare empty buckets in your bank now is a great time to get them! Okay, so you have the bucket now, what do you do? You take it, to any well or fountain then fill it up. One click will equal a full bucket of water. So I guess that’s pretty easy.

Pot of Flour: Ok this step may take a little longer if you do not have the ingredients first so let’s start with that. To successfully make a pot of flour you must have grain, and a pot. Pots are easily purchased in a local general store. You should by the pot no more the five gold points. Ok so once have the pot it is now time to get the grain. Go north- west of Lumbridge and you should arrive to the grain field. Then go ahead and pick up the grain. One would be just fine. And beside that you should see the wind mill. Go in there and tale the grain up to the third floor. Use the grain with the shoot and press the lever to operate the machine. Once you are finished with that go down all the way to the first floor. Then you must use the pot with the flour to empty the bin.

Ashes: Getting ashes are pretty easy. One way is by killing Imps. You might have to kill them a couple of times to get the ash but that’s ok. Ever see some runescape users make a fire non-stop? Well this is where they come in handy once their logs have burned out completely that ashes should pop up. But the good thing is that you can get all the ashes you want because the set so many fires! Isn’t that great? But if you don’t see any one setting fires, then you can go ahead and set your own fire. Take any ax you have and grab your tinderbox. If you do not own then go ahead and buy it at any local general store. You should by them no more then eight gold points. Then out side the Varrock general store there should be some tree standing around. Cut it down and use the logs with your tinderbox. Wait for the ashes to pop up and there you have it! A nice fresh batch of Ash! Oh and also remember none of this should be new to you, if it is then we got a problem…

Pink Skirt: You can get a pink shirt at any local general store, but a great place to buy them would be the Cloths Shop located in Varrock. If there is no more stock in the cloths shop, then you can also buy it from someone. Please make a wise decision on buying the pink skirt, because some people like to go a little over board when selling an item so do not, and I repeat do NOT buy it for more then twenty five gold points, unless you like spending a lot of money.

Three Beers: getting bears is pretty easy too. If the Drunk Dwarf ever talks to you and gives you beer, then that’s a good time to save them up cause you can get that for free. Or you can buy them at any local general store. But from my opinion I would have to say that, a great place to buy beers is at any bar that sells beer. A good location to buy them at would be at the Blue Moon Inn. The Blue Moon Inn, you would find located in Varrock. You should buy them no more then three gold points. Oh and also if you want to pick up beers for free then a good place to get them would be at a little house in barbarian village located west from the center of Varrock.

Soft Clay: The main way to get soft clay would be to mine clay in the mining area located south of Varrock. You can also locate it above the champion’s guild. After mining some clay, take a bucket of water and use it with the clay. That should give you soft clay. If you do not feel like wasting time mining then making the clay, then you could also buy the soft clay from someone because it is tradable. You should not buy the soft clay for an unreasonable price. I would have to say that over thirty gold points would be an unreasonable price.

Bronze Bar: Finally, we get to the bronze bar! Well getting the bronze bar is pretty easy. All you have to do is head up to a mining site take any pickax with you. You then mine one copper ore and one tin ore. Once you have those head up to any smelting house. Also use the copper ore and the tin ore with the furnace. Now you should have successfully made a bronze bar. if for some reason it didn’t make it, mine two copper ores and two tin ores just in case, then take them up to the furnace. If you are looking for a furnace and there’s not one near you a good thing to do would be teleport to home. Once you have done that, do not cross the bridge just head up north then you will see the furnace.

Head over to Draynor Village and find Leela Draynor Village City Guide illustrates the locations of Leela, Aggie, Ned, and Lady Keli. Tell her you are there to help her free the Prince Ali. She’ll check what items you have and tell you what else you still need.

4.) Find Aggie which is located in Draynor village. She will make you the dye to dye your wig

5.) As soon as you get the dye pick up your three balls of wool to make your wig. And if you haven’t got your rope yet then now is the time to use your extra four balls of wool to make the rope. Now once you have the wig, use the yellow dye and the wig. Finally! The disguise is complete.

6.) Head up and go talk to Lady Keli. Tell her that you heard of her, and that she is famous. Ask her what her latest plan is. Once she has answered you tell her she must have been very skillful. Then ask her if she’s sure they won’t let the prisoner out. At this time make sure you have the soft clay with you. Then ask her if you can see the key… then ask her if you can touch it for a moment. She should have given you the key. Once she gives you the key. You will then make an imprint of the key in the clay.

7.) Ok, so now you made the imprint. Go back to Osman in Al Kharid with the key imprint and a bronze bar, he’ll tell you to pick up the key from Leela which is the Draynor Village spy.

8.) Head up to the house near Lady Keli and talk to the guard Joe, tell him you have a beer, fancy one? But be sure to right click on the beer first then use it with the guard because if you just click on it then you will drink the beer yourself. So trust me on this one because it happened to me. You’ll then ask him if he wants another and automatically hand them to him; he will drink them and get drunk.

9.) Now that he is drunk he you will be able to get by him, without him noticing you. Now it is time to tie up Lady Keli. Use your key on the door and talk to Prince Ali. He will take the disguise. Now go back to Hassan and talk to him, Congratulations! You’re now a friend of Al Kharid and can pass for free through the gates between Lumbridge and Al Kharid.

I am sure you, as most Runescape players, envy those people out in the wilderness firing firebolts like there is no tomorrow. On the other hand, perhaps you want to take the Greater Demon down with ease? I’m about to teach you a secret most people will find odd and pick on you about, but it’s brilliant.

We will start our training NE of Port Sarim, where the wizards reside. Bring along mind and air runes. It’s cheaper to use an air staff instead of purchasing air runes, this way you only have to purchase mind runes, so that’s a better way to go. Trust me, no matter what level your mage level is, you will want to use wind strike. I know the wind strike is he weakest spell but trust me, the secret will pay off.

Get your staff ready (if you are using a staff) with the wind strike spell. Only target the Air Wizard! It’s immune to the air strikes. The strikes will just bounce off, but you will get all the experience points. It’s also a good idea if you are a lower level to wear some anti-magic armor (ranging gear preferably dragon hide).

Now, if you want to level up faster, (though it will cost quite a bit more money) you can use higher spells, but be sure only to use the spells on a wizard that’s immune to the spell you are using. (Example: Fire Wizards are immune to fire spells; Water Wizards are immune to water spells, etc ) Otherwise, it will damage the wizard, and will not become a never-ending battle. This battle will continue until one of these happen: You run out of runes to cast the spells, and therefore kill the wizard with melee, or the wizard kills you. It might be a good idea to bring along some food, seeing as even the strongest player will eventually become weak during battle.

It’s really a matter of how much time and money you want to spend on it, but I guarantee the results are mind blowing. I’m sure we have all heard of the “level 50 mage in one week” scams.
Trust me, this is no scam!!

Sure, it takes awhile, but would you rather spend endless hours clicking on zombies across the river in Varrok sewers? I doubt it.

I rather like this method; it makes many noobs say things like “Perhaps if you used a different spell it would work better” or “Hey noob! What are you doing? You won’t kill it with that!” I just tell them I’m using a secret and keep on with the never-ending battle. It leaves them puzzling and mad.

I’m sure we have all heard people say they have been hacked at least once. Usually they are lying to get free items or gold. This does not mean that there are still not hackers out there. The best way to secure your account is never to give out your password to anyone. But, this is not always going to work. There are other ways of protecting your account even if someone happens upon your password.

One way would be to set recovery questions. This way, if someone changes your password, you can get it back. But by then, your account could be drained of all of its items. So this is not a good thing in that way. But, you can protect items in your bank by setting a bank PIN. You can do this by going to a banker and talking to them about it.

Once you get to the pin screen, you will see this:

Click Set a bank Pin and click yes I really want to set a bank pin. I will never forget it.

Then you can punch in any 4 number combo. Nevertheless, find a way so that you will remember it. Writing it down is not the best way, as someone can find the paper trail and steal it. If you have to use paper, then hide it somewhere where no one would think to look.

This would be an example of a safe account: A password that would be very hard to guess, recovery questions that only you would know, and a bank pin that’s hard to guess. Although it is rare for an account to be hacked by a random person, it can be. They will spend endless hours typing random passwords until they find one that’s correct.

Still want more protection? Try going to the Stronghold of Security. It will teach you some valuable info on how to keep your account safe, while earning a good reward at the same time! If you’re not sure where the Stronghold of Security is, it’s in the middle of Barbarian Village, where you mine rocks. It will say Climb-down Entrance. It can get a bit dangerous down there; you might want to bring food. But it’s worth it to know that your Dragon Dagger Poisoned (++) is safe from those very few who would steep so low as to rip off another player.

Remember to always report when you think someone is going to scam, or try to get another player’s password. I’ve been in many scams before, where I’ve lost over 90,000 gp in items. A couple of examples of scams are, “Hey dude, check this awesome glitch out! If you say red:yourpassword it will block it out and you will get 50k!” or “This is a trust game, trade me items and I will trade them back, whoever trades the most worth of the items wins!” for the trust game, they will wait till it’s a very valuable item and then log out.

Remember, everyone you meet in a game that says they are your friend may not be. If they have your password, they can cause you to lose your account or be banned permanently. Some players might just wish to find an account they can use to scam others, knowing it will be banned, in order to transfer their scammed items into their account. Then the person that owned the account would be out of luck since his or her account was the one that was caught scamming.

I am sure that we have all heard the term glitch or runescape bug. Most of them have now been fixed, and only a few people know those that still remain, or they are just rumors that do not work.

Usually the runescape bugs are minor like walking around while sitting on a bench inside a house. However, there have been some runescape glitches that were so bad it forced Runescape to do a roll back, and exp, items, and all that happened in that day was virtually erased. The glitch I’m speaking of now is referred to as World 111 Massacre, or Falador Massacre. It started out that with Cursed_You got 99 construction before anyone else, and through a party. After awhile, people were in the fight arena and he expelled everyone.

Those that were in the arena, found that they could attack other players outside of the wilderness. One of the most known people that had a bit of fun player killing outside of the wilderness was Durial321. He went crazy using ancient magic and killing everyone in sight. The screenshot below I took of a video that is on YouTube. There are quite a bit of them, and if you want to learn more, check there. In the end Jagex banned Durial321 and I’m sure quite a lot of others. Cursed_you was banned also, but for different reasons. It had nothing to do with the massacre.

There was also a glitch in the mage arena where you could high alch an amount of gold coins and get 99 mage immediately. It was rumored that by doing this your account would be banned in 24 hours. Of course, this was patched along with the falador massacre.

There is also a person named The Box Noob. I’m not certain if he has been banned or not, but some think he is or was Durial321. This person was level 3 and was able to become a zombie, and a green dragon! He walked around showing off and growing crowds. There were a lot of rumors of he is a bot, he is a macro, he is a mod or admin, he is a hacker who has actually hacked Runescape but of course, this was all wrong. He was just a normal guy who found a glitch.

One glitch is in a house. It’s only minor, but it is indeed a glitch and you can do it. It takes two people. One has to sit on a bench in the house. The other can then continuously click sit on the bench, and when they get right behind the bench, the sitting person then clicks sit on the bench. Once you are both sitting in the same chair, one gets up, and the other will be able to move around the house sitting in the chair. To sit and move, you must click and then turn building mode on. Obviously, with 2 people in it, it won’t go into building mode.

So yea, those are some glitches. As you can see, a lot of times the are minor runescape glitches, but some can cause great havoc. I do not advise trying to find glitches. They can get your account banned if you’re caught. If you want to see some more glitches that are around, or glitches of the past, YouTube is a great source. Its fun to see them but again, I don’t advise trying them yourself. Even if you’re not banned, you will most likely get warnings. Remember, if a player tells you to try a glitch, most likely it’s a way to scam you. Runescape is doing more and more to stop scammers, as now you can’t type your password into the chat. This is a good thing seeing as when someone asks for your password, they ARE going to steal your account.

Before we begin, let’s take a moment to learn the basics of the Grand Exchange. When you open the Exchange window, you will see six boxes with 2 boxes in each. One box is for buying, and the other for selling. You can pick the quantity and the price for either buying or selling. Usually when selling, the lowest price possible will be the fastest sell.

Let me show you an example. As you can see from the screenshot below, I have three barbed tail harpoons. They are set at the max price (27 gp) and the total gold is 81 gp. I could change the quantity and/or the price if I wanted to. However, I think that is fair, so I will press “Confirm Offer” and then I will wait for it to finish. They will hold your items or money until it’s completed. You can always go to any bank and press “collect” to receive the money or items you got from the exchange.

Now, that you have a basic grasp of the way it works, lets move on to money-making.

Obviously the normal merchanting is always a great way to make money. However, who really wants to sit in a bank for an hour typing “Selling 1k willows!!”? That’s what’s great about the Exchange. Just take your items and put them in your sell box. Name the price and the quantity will automatically be the number you have. Most of the time it will sell within a minute of you putting it up. But of course, it’s not always going to work like that. As in the screenshot below, I’m waiting for them to sell.

They will not sell as fast because they are not a popular item and they are at the max price.
If I had say, 100 Swordfish, and I put them at the minimum price, they would sell very fast.
Even if they were at the maximum price, they would sell quite fast. Remember, the more popular the item is, the faster it sells.

Another good idea is to buy low and sell high. Say I buy eight swordfish at 375gp each. Then I resell them for 415gp each. I just made 320gp. Sure, it’s not a lot, but say I buy 1k Swordfish for 375k and then I resold for 415kGP. See the difference? Of course making money like this could take quite awhile. Just stay patient and it will pay off.

Using the Runescape Grand Exchange is a wonderful money making opportunity. You can have that Dragon Longsword you have been dreaming of in a matter of minutes.

Before I begin, there are no safe Runescape hacking methods. There are, unlike the Stronghold of Security states, Runescape hacks. Runescape does not want you to know about these Runescape hacks, because obviously they do not want anyone cheating. If you are caught cheating, you will be banned. With all of this said, let me begin.

What you see above is the “JagHax” Auto clicker. It will click over and over at a certain spot. Its not one of the best hacks out there, but it is in fact a hack. It has quite a few flaws with Runtime errors and it’s really not worth your time. As usual, if you are caught using this program (if you can get it to work) your account will most likely be banned. However, if you think its worth the risk, which I personally do not think it is, then you can easily find it with a Google search.

The above screenshot shows a list of hacks and cheats that are most common on the internet. A lot of places want you to pay to get these and half of them don’t work. Trust me, its not worth paying $30.00 USD to get some cheap programs that will most likely infect your computer with viruses, key loggers, or trojans. Key loggers are a bad thing to have in this case, as they will send a log of every letter or number that you type, thus getting your username and password. How would you like to pay $30.00 USD and loose your Runescape account? Would not be too pleasant.

Although there are some hacks for Runescape, the people who have them will not share. A lot of times, you will find a site that says things like I have found out how to hack Runescape! Email your username and password to Obviously, it’s a scam to get your account. Do not trust these sites that offer hacks, cracks, cheats, autoers, and bots. They are most likely after money or accounts.

The above screenshot shows the infamous auto fighter. The people who made it are selling it for $8.99 USD. They offer Testimonials which you can tell are fake. Some examples of these testimonies are - “It’s working like a dream so far” and “Thanks for the extra levels!” Seem fake to you? It is obvious that they are just trying to sell you some program that’s going to get your account banned within an hour. I see no point in paying money for such programs, when you can do the same thing without it.

Most hacks were eliminated with the release of RS2. With RS1, hacks were popular. A lot of people had them, and it was common. Nevertheless, ever since RS2, the number of people with hacks has rapidly gone down. Jagex is on hack watch 24/7 waiting to ban. Before you go off searching for these hacks, take a moment to think if it’s worth it. What if you loose your account? If not from a ban, than to another person who secretly infected your computer. What if you lost your full rune all from just wanting to go up a few levels with an auto fighter? It takes 5 seconds to download a program, but how long will it take the person with the note card full of the words you typed, to steal your account? Not long, I’m sure.

If after all of this that you are still wanting to try hacks, cracks, cheats, macros, bots, and autoers, then it’s your choice. I highly advise against it though. We cannot be held responsible for anything that happens to your account, computer, or wallet.

Remember, you do not need any sort of program to be good in Runescape.
